I have captured this 'Red-Knobbed Coot' at Marieval Bird Sanctuary, early in the morning. Although I have posted this bird before, but here atmosphere made me enthusiastic to click again. It's an another chance to practice myself to improve my shot. Simple composition giving bit much space in front of the bird to show its way. It's trails helped me to place the bird nicely to show its speed. Practice makes perfect....

Hi Srikumar. The choice to photograph this species of side is a great idea. There is a species similar to me, and it is always difficult to get a good result, because the white spot above the beak is always overexposed trying to make a front picture. Instead this perspective reduces the problem and allows you to have the best details on the dark plumage. Great photo and very interesting species. Have a nice week and thanks,LUCIANO
razor sharp, great portrait ! greetings Ori

Good sharpness and POV.
I like the mirror effect with the water.
Thanks for sharing.
Peaaceful, tranquil photo with simple yet effective composition and gorgeous lights. Magnificent shot showing how the coot is swimming to the light (as the left side of the image is much brighter than the right one). Fantastic sharpness as well. Absolutely gorgeous photograph, congratulations!
