[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
There are many "nice" photos of lions looking so friendly and cosy. Here is another approach.

I met this male lion early one morning together with three lionesses. But he was most interested in just one of them. They were mating just in front of the car and it was truly an amazing scene and to follow the play. We follow the play for about 70 minutes whitout any other cars. I will not write more about that play insead I refer to an excellent note made by member FunkyMunky (Peter).

Hi Stefan
WOW - this fellow has only one thing on his mind. Just as well you were in your car and you were lucky to get to see him in action.
I've never seen such an ear-flattening lion before (only see them in our our local zoo in NZ). There the males and females all live happily ever after together in a lovely place, but no babies ever get born there either. They must put something in their water I think.
Thank you for sharing.

What a startling expression on the face of this young male, Stefan! I simply shudder
when watching that image and that is a powerful Photograph indeed!Bravo, great timing and superb depth of field! I just wonder 42 people past that capture like a flying birds and only single critique for your support ! What's going on here?
