This volcanic cone lays in the Southern Tip of Lake Turkana, in Kenya. The area is so remote, than even locals are rarely seen around it. Extremely hot and unfriendly environment, with lava fields and no drinking water available. Shore full of scorpions and adders, water full of huge Nile crocodiles. Simply a perfect place, at least for me :)

Amazing view on this volcanic lake.The color of the water is just stunning. Seems to be a great place to stay, fortunately we just see the beautiful side of it! Thanks a lot to present some very remote and not well-known place.

This is almost surrealistic, Andrei.
The green lake stands in amazing contrast with the burnt copper hills around it. Looks really unusual and strange. Still, it has a great charm of its own.
The image is captured very well.

Looks like an interesting place to explore...except for the scorpions. Love all the different colours and textures. The blue sky is amazing against the rock. Why is the water green...algae?
