So where did you take this shot from? I've been looking at trail books, and as soon as I can get back hiking hope to do some up there late this summer. Love the clarity you've achieved here, and the dark blue sky, well done.
My he DID get awfully close! Pretty imposing looking fellow too with those horns. I like the composition of this with the hills crisscrossing in the background, although I'm sure that's the Last thing I'd have been thinking of! Great shot.
My heart is beating fast just imagining the flight into the trees! What a great action shot, however accidental it was, glad you saved the camera! Well done.
I would have been so awestruck I'd probably not even remembered to take a photo!! What a sight, I love the full view of just how many birds are there, wonderful sight!
I missed this one somehow...I love the composition with the larger blooms slightly off center. The blurry background makes them stand out even more. I see this is so old it's with your "old" camera too! WEll done!
Very beautiful flower, I'm glad it's being protected. It reminds me of a wild rose. I love the vibrant color and glowing light you captured it in, well done.
Wow....someone else dives into the "flowy" water photos! I'm still not certain I love them just yet, and with my camera they're still a bit hard to do, though not impossible. You did a great job with this one, it really gives an impression of just how fast the water was moving, well done!
Turned out nice! You'll have to change the way you save the jpeg to get a larger version so we can see more details too! I think we should have gotten to this spot just a bit earlier in the day so the trees wouldn't have been so dark. Now I'll have to go back!
What time of day did you get here to capture this one Tom? I always seem to time it wrong and get the water way to blown out. I love the way you've captured the "whole" falls here, with the exception of that third upper tier that you can only see from the trail. Well done! You were near my house while I was far away in the North Washington Cascades.
What an amazing little flower, so brightly shown. I love the glow of light on this as well as the dark background, well done.
