This is a beautiful composition Larry. My only nit would be to crop out the bottom blurry fern, but otherwise you have a real winner of an image here; the lighting is excellent.

At first I thought this fine flower was an avalanche lily, which is a common alpine lily out in these parts. My only real nit about the image is the distracting bright sunlight in the background.
I know that sometimes such backgrounds are unavoidable, so what I do sometimes is take a piece of cloth to use as a background which can be solid colour or patterned; whichever you prefer.
